What’s nearby?

Inverbervie Beach

  • Beautiful pebble beach ‘a stone’s throw’ from the Sports Centre where you can look out over Bervie Water.

Gourdon Harbour

  • A short cycle along the coastal path, visit a
scenic working harbour, where there are information boards
describing points of interest in the village and the sealife
associated with the harbour. Artwork on the gable end of the Harbour Bar offers a great background for a photo with the bike! The Maggie Law Maritime Museum is also in the village.

Johnshaven

  • Further south down the coastal path is the pretty fishing village of Johnshaven, where you can see stacks of creels by the harbour and perhaps visit the local lobster outlet too!
