Aden Country Park is a 230 acre country park in the heart of Buchan offering a warm welcome, beautiful surroundings, and a wide range of opportunities for relaxation and recreation for individuals, families, and groups to enjoy.
Please adhere to signposted speed limits within the Park.
Facilities:
The Café at Aden is open Wednesday to Sunday, 10am-3pm.
Other Aden Country Park facilities include the award-winning Aberdeenshire Farming Museum (open April to October), Café at Aden (open Tues to Sun 10am to 4pm, April – October), new children’s play area, picnic and BBQ sites, walks and trials, SANDS and carers/sensory gardens, outdoor gym, dog agility and exercise area, horse arena and bridleway, car parking, public toilets, changing places toilet, and 4 Star Aden Caravan & Camping Park.

Aberdeenshire Farming Museum
- Located within the park, open April – October, Aberdeenshire Farming Museum tells the story of the North East’s farming past.
Pitfour Estate
- Only a short cycle from Aden Country Park, this is really scenic with a flat, wide path around the perimeter of Pitfour Lake.
Deer Abbey
- Just a stone’s throw from Aden Country Park, Deer Abbey was founded in 1219 by William Comyn, the Earl of Buchan. The remains of which you can visit today.
